Shape of Magic 6 Preview
Added 2024-10-04 16:01:50 +0000 UTCWith chapter 5 already up, and a, frankly, unknown time before chapter 6 is finished I thought it was probably a good idea to at least give a teaser of what was being actively worked on. I thought this might be both amusing and enlightening for how I, at least, view Hogwarts.

On that topic, Hera and Ron had finally come down alongside Hermione and Neville and- “Oh, that’s how mail is delivered. Owls in the morning, that explains why everyone stayed in their common rooms,” She thought to herself. It made sense, to have mail delivered during meal times directly to their recipients. It would cut down on theft.
She approved.
There weren’t many things she didn’t approve of, at that point. The secret passages she’d found, seen, or used were all safe and non-threatening, the teachers had been competent, and there were lots of little puzzles left around for people to mess with between classes.
She’d already seen a few older students messing with some in lesser used corridors. A particularly memorable example being a pot that seemed to randomly teleport around a room but was, in truth, spelling out a word that acted as a passkey for a locked wardrobe. Upon opening it, the student was awarded a few galleons for his efforts.
Once again, she approved.
Of course, she’d only noticed the room because the pot had been making a decent amount of noise, popping in and out of existence, so she wondered just how many things were truly in the castle to play with. She hoped it was a lot, having some spending money would certainly help with her other projects.
She’d talk to the group, now including Amy, but with how dazed and out of it two of the five looked she didn’t think it wise to create a bug clone for that. It might’ve just killed Ron, judging by how he looked, and everyone else would assume she was some big bad dark evil girl.
She was only most of those things, not all of them, so she restrained herself.
