Hey all,

Just wanted to check in and give you a progress update. I've been working on a main channel video basically since "Twilight" was released in March of last year. My original target upload date was the US election in November. The result of that election threw off my groove severely, as we've discussed (though it's just as well because the election has affected the framing of the video). I moved the deadline to December 31-ish. But the project has continued to expand and is now essentially equal to "Twilight" in length and scope. I think this is creatively justified. But I am only now moving into the later stages of production. So, realistically, this will be a February video.

I've decided not to pause the Patreon, because I'm not on vacation. In fact I basically have no life until the video is up. No one's making me do this, it's my choice. But I wanted to be clear about what you can expect and when. If you want to unsubscribe and then resubscribe in February when the video is up, I understand completely and take no offense. If you trust the process and want to pay me to work regardless of the deadline, I of course am very grateful for that too.

Thanks for all your support and patience—and for those in the US, hang in there this week.
