I'm going to be a few days late with this one due to releasing the main channel video pretty late into the month and some other circumstances (my roof leaking, needing urgent repairs—etc!). 2023-04-29 18:55:13 +0000 UTCIt would also be interesting and beneficial to learn about detransitioners, because it's often an argument I see thrown around to gatekeep transitions from happening in the first place. Having a good understanding of how often that occurs (or infrequently), and the circumstances around it, can help trans people and their allies respond to questions or objections to those who are open to learning more about trans issues, but are still confused about it. I don't think any amount of talking points will convince a bigot, but it will at least allow people to arm themselves with actual data to respond to this sort of gatekeeping.
