CoC Devlog #12

Hello!

I'm bringing you guys another devlog before the release of 0.4.5. While the number increase in the version is not as big as before, it doesn't mean that there will be less content than usual. I just want the conclusion of the Imp's area to be included in 0.5.0, and with 0.4.5 it's still not finished entirely.

In the end, I did not end up posting 0.4.0a, as the translations didn't go as smoothly as I expected. Sadly the Spanish translator told me they can't help anymore, so now it's in the weird spot of being translated up until 0.4.0, but I can't really release it as the latest area would be untranslated. Hopefully, somebody can pick it up later on and then it can be added to the game.

Now let's talk about the new patch. As I mentioned before, this version will feature 3 unique new animations. One for Anne and 2 for the new character, Hazel. I'm also done with Anne's bad end except for the CG. I decided to commission a high-definition 2D CG for the bad end, something similar to what Drain Mansion used when you got a game over. Hazel will also have a scene apart from the normal struggle scenes. Overall I think there will be a good amount of new content added in the new version. 🙂

In short, what can you expect in the next patch: some lore expansion, a chase scene, a puzzle escape room, some new added random events here and there, voice acting for Anne, 3 new animations, 4(!) new scenes.

The new version will be released sometime in early December. I'll post the exact release dates later on.
