Added 2020-04-01 00:11:36 +0000 UTC
Hey all,
I'm running more on time than usual so I'll be live in about 15 minutes with the March AMA stream!
If you're a 15+ patron make sure you asked your question on the "Invite" post, and not the stream announcement post!
The stream will remain archived here for those who miss it live.
Looking forward to chatting!

P.S. Here's the link to the stream in case the one above isn't working: https://youtu.be/1yhxgrZ0aXw
Ugh, I can't believe I missed that!

Hey Gorg, noticed one of the questions about autism and non cis identification and thought i might [hopefully] be helpful and point to AutGenSex event in birmingham around 2018 which has all their presentations viewable on their website (shameless plug i did my 1st ever talk at one) which had a few trans speakers and some academics of various types that were quite interesting. I would highlight AutScape too but sadly these talks (inc my own last year) aren't recorded or public.
Hope this helps if you wade into the parallels of passing and the higher levels of gender identity topics in the autism community.
Glad you are feeling better

I had a really great Ulysses class in college, and I think that's the right environment to appreciate it in. We spent the whole semester on just that book, and had ample time to dive into all its complexities and details. Having people to discuss with, a patient and interested prof, and the annotated companion book made it a really rewarding reading experience.

Yes! Look after your internal organs and always read for mood, not likeable characters!

Does anyone actually read a complete Joyce? I thought everyone just took 3 lines and ranted about them. With Dostoevsky it is worth really shopping around for a good translation... Unless you read Russian. I read them in self-imposed exile in Greece so now could be the time!

Hulu has a new series out that has a uniquely realistic portrayal of autism in females called "Everything's gonna be okay"
