Democracy still seems the best form of government but capitalism needs a severe overhaul or to be replaced with a system that treats and pays all employees equally. Currently we are seeing the formantion of a new class of nobility, with corporate ceos's and vp's being the new Dukes and Barons.

2019-10-29 04:19:05 +0000 UTCHey Natalie! So I very much enjoyed your latest video. It got me thinking about some things and one of those things was class. Now I generally still think view the Marxian conception of class to still holds true. I’ve worked in retail, service and factory jobs and in my experience class conflicts is still happening. No matter the occupation people still seem to be struggling to get by and have to deal with bosses breathing down their neck. But as you pointed out in your video, things can get blurry, and I feel like Paul fussells conception of class, may provide some clarity or even help explain the different attitudes towards wealth that exist. So to me at least there may be a possible synthesis between these two different conceptions of class. So I guess my question is, what are your thoughts? Do you think it’s possible for a synthesis? Is the Marxian idea of class outdated? Anyway, I just wanted to bring up my personal experiences and I wanted to say thank you. I’m non-binary and I very much appreciate what you do.
