Progress Report

The new video is not done yet (deadlines around here are mostly for inspiration), but I wanted to let you know that I'm working on it. This one will be called "The West" or something like that. It's basically a follow-up to the Jordan Peterson video that asks the question: What exactly is "Western culture"?
I'm also excited to announce that I just got a new microphone that should drastically improve the audio quality of my dialogue. For the last 8 months or so I've been using a Zoom H4 field recorder, which is an improvement on the Blue Yeti I was using before, but it's not really suited to dialogue, and it's been producing mediocre results that I've grown dissatisfied with.
Thanks to your support I have the budget to do better, so I just bought a Sennheiser MKH-416 which is a classic pro-level shotgun mic. I just tested it out and it sounds WAY better. So yay!
I'll be filming all day today, and tomorrow I'll upload some preview screenshots. Video will be out sometime in the next week.
