Added 2016-10-11 12:33:10 +0000 UTCWe did it! Just hit $250 per video after my last post, and as promised I'll be getting some better lighting to improve the look of my videos. Doing a little research on what to get, and I'll hopefully have the new lights for my next video!
I'm very happy with the rate of growth I've seen on YouTube and Patreon over the last couple months, and I can't say how grateful I am to you all for helping me do this.
I've set a new goal of $500 per video. If I get there, I can basically do this professionally, which means, among other things, I'll want to get a more professional camera. My videos so far have been filmed on an iPhone + external mic, which I think actually looks surprisingly good. Still, it would be nice to be able to adjust the zoom/focus and get more of a professional look.
I'll be adjusting my Patreon reward levels slightly and adding some new levels this month, so check back in a bit for an update about that.
