update: set up done(for the most part)
Added 2025-08-01 04:08:07 +0000 UTChey peeps, here we are, my new set-up is done, for the most part. there are some minor things that i'm messing with to see how they are, but i have it, so that means that next week i'll be back to doing art... yeah... i will, but there are some things...
so, i've started to practice on this set-up, and i am not used to it at all. like, doing line art felt off, with the new screen height, and the fact that i went from a 16in to a 24in, i've just been struggling a bit to get lines down foe some reason. im sure i'll get sued to it, but, it might take some time, so be patient with me please. the next pics i have planned, i think i'll do them on my old laptop, since i'm use to it, but after that, i'm going all in on the new one, and thing, might be rough, i'm hoping not, but it seems that i'm for sure slower getting the line work done on this new one... sorry.
maybe i'll get a lower monitor stand, that might help me feel better, lower like the laptop.
sorry, just bracing you peeps that art flow might be off for a bit, i like trying to get 2 pics a week, but depending on how this feels, it might be... well... i'm just making excuses for myself. i'll figure it out, just might take time, might be slow, but i'm sure i'll get back in the flow.
