Update: potential July pause

hey peeps, as the title says, i'm thinking about pausing payments for the month of July. the reason behind this is because i'm looking into upgrading my computer and set up. i have the money at the moment and my laptop is 6 years older at this point, it's seen daily uses, for an average of 12 hours a day, i've had to replace the drive, the fans, and the battery multiple time now, and it's starting to freeze while try to close programs, sometimes for 2 mins, and it's having some problems with it ability to connect to the wifi, it can do it, but it's super slow some times and reconnecting it is starting to help less and less, so i'm staring to think i should upgrade and get a desk top maybe, the laptop is useful for power outages, but the battery thing has been annoying to manage and a 2 hour and 15min battery life is just, not really cutting it, so the desk top might be the way to go now. plus i never take the laptop anywhere anyway, it just sits on my desk so it might as well be one.

the point being, if i choose to upgrade, i'm going to have to get a new computer, a monitor, a key board, a mouse, and possible, a new scanner, which has been a thing that really does need to be replaced, my current on works, but only cause i figured out a work around to make it work, i just love the scanner program it has( all the other ones have sucked!) so i've been hesitant to get a new one, but i really should just cause i know it's going to quit at some point, it's like 15 years old, i also might need a new clip studio license, depending on if i still have installs left on my currant one.

Again, my point, it's a complete overhaul, so i'm going to need to buy, gather and set up EVERYTHING, so it's going to take a while to get it, set it up, configure it, and get use to it, so i won't have much time to draw until it's all good and ready, and even then, i'll have to do some tests, so i'm thinking of just pausing payment for July and letting myself have the time to get that all and get it running.

what do you peeps think? does it sound like a good plan? should i upgrade? i'm down to heard your thoughts on the matter.

thank you for the support, and for hearing me out

, love ya!

thanks for understanding, and i think i'm going pre bulit, i found one that looks alright for art, and can do games, and i tried to use part picker to recreate it, but the prebulit is cheaper it seems, which is odd, i've been told that building it would be cheaper, but maybe it is if i really look and try for used parts, plus, i've replaced parts, but i've never built one, so i'd have no idea what to look for in size and compatibility, it'd be easier for me to upgrade parts if need be. i have clip 1.0, so i'll just make sure to uninstall it when i get it set up, thank for letting me know.

That's understandable to pause for that reason and hope you can find a good PC for your setup. Is it going to be a pre-built or are you going to put it together yourself? I've built PCs for myself and my brother so happy to help if you need any advice on what to get. For the clip studio I don't think you need to buy a new license. I'm currently using the same copy of Clip Studio for years throughout my multiple builds (when it was called Manga Studio 5 EX) and still have the disc lol. You might just need to uninstall it first before installing it to a new system. 1.0 of CSP can have up to 2 copies at once, 2.0 and above caps off to one unless you buy a second licensee.

thanks, and that's interesting to know, might do it, thought i hate having to do the itemize thing. so i take it you think the plan to pause and get this taken care of is good?

Happy your getting something New! Just remember. You can file that New Computer as a Tax Write Off
