Man, Dr. Stone is such a gem. It really makes you feel emotions in a unique way, not with hype fights, but by the steady progression and the feeling of accomplishment. Makes you truly appreciate the world around us and feel proud of what we achieved as a civilisation. As for the magnets, no, they haven't made a second one separately. I don't know much about physics besides the basics from high school, but I'm assuming they had a second iron bar and by connecting the magnet to it, they transferred a part of the magnetic field, making a new one. For it to be possible, the old magnet needs to be very powerful and the new one can't be much larger in size, but thankfully, lightnings generate a substantial amount of power. And the lacquer rash is simply just allergic reaction. Breathing in the lacquer they used for insulation makes Senku's face swell.
