2025-10-06 00:36:56 +0000 UTCIn real life carrier pigeons only know how to fly home. If you go on a journey you take a pigeon with you and when you release it it flies back to its home. So yes, without training the hawk to recognize a new place as its home Sokka could've at most sent a message back to the shop he bought it from, because it probably still considers that to be home
