mystery is always good for sure! it keeps us wanting more πŸ˜† I agree with you about Luto 100% I was a tiny bit feeling sorry for Sofia because I thought to myself Luto is the one who created her, but it's true what he said that she had a choice, and she chose to go slaughtering and doing bad things. I had a lot of fun watching it and I can't wait for season 3!! πŸ₯°

There are so many mysteries that are only answered later, some not yet even in the novels, so yeah paying attention to the small hints and bits of information is the only way to hope for answers in some cases, but it keeps the world and story interesting imo. To me Root/Luto is just the epitome of selfishness. Everything we've seen him do in the anime is neither motivated by good nor evil, but purely self-interest. Like with Sofia, he is absolutely correct about everything he said, yet he still completely disregards any responsibility he would have towards her and just waves away the consequences like they're nothing because he can and he doesn't really care. It's my favorite isekai so while I'm sad we're up to date on the anime, I'm glad you liked it and hopefully season 3 comes out quickly :D

I just randomly picked up this show up one day and ended up enjoying it a lot. Even a bit more than Slime since S2 and S3 of Slime have a ton of meetings. There's more variety here in switching up action with other activities. I'm looking forward to the next seasons of both though.
