You might not believe this about Felis because he's such a manly guy, but that absolute Chad of a dude is actually voice acted by a woman (apparently Yui Horie, but I dunno anything about voice actors so had to look it up).

that's what came to my mind, that Subaru used the information of negotiation with Otto! but sadly things still turned out badly 😭 Wow Thank you for pointing out Reinhard's name and Wilhem's I'm so bad with names I find it hard to remember them 😅 So they come from the same family!! that is interesting!

So finally Subaru has learned that to help Emilia he needs to ask for help of other people, instead of pushing everyone away. Because he is powerless, he can't do anything. He could use his power but that alone hasn't really worked out so well in the last few episodes. I know that I said that the glint in his eyes was hope and determination in the last episode, but that's not all. Here we learn that the glint in his eyes was murderous intent. I believe it's all three. He has hope that he can overcome this by killing Petelguse and the Witch's cult, in fact, he is determined to do so. On one hand I can absolutely understand the lengths Subaru tries to go here to save Emilia, kneeling (the highest form of forgiveness/asking for help in Japanese culture) to Crush or even swallowing his own pride to lick the foot of Priscilla. Sadly, however, it all just ends up blowing back in his face because he wasn't calm and never thought things through. It's like Crush said: If you want to negotiate, you have to give them something of equal value in return. Subaru has nothing. I'm glad Subaru instantly put his knowledge of negotiations that he just learned from Anastasia and asking for help from Otto, he instead offered to buy all of his oil first before saying what he wants. Before Subaru died for the first time (after Memory Snow) Wilhelm mentioned that there was some fog covering one of the roads that was possibly caused by the White Whale that ended up making them taking a longer route making them late to the mansion. Rem even said that they would die if they took the path with the fog. Now we see how that would've played out. In all of the previous loops where Subaru gets to the mansion, they have all already been dead when he gets there. This is the first time he makes it there before the attack happens. In the talk about how the White Whale is terrifying, Otto says that it killed the first Master Swordsman. Why Subaru here looks so terrified is because if you remember, Reinhard actually holds that title right now. So you can assume someone as strong as Reinhard died to it. That's why everyone is terrified of the White Whale. I also forgot to say it in the other episode, but since we're talking about Reinhard, it's probably important to also mention that Reinhard's full name is Reinhard Van Astrea (it was already said in the show so no spoilers). It was only mentioned once before but if you've forgotten Wilhem's full name was Wilhem Van Astrea. I think it's fair to assume that they are related. It's only mentioned briefly and pretty easy to miss. ZombieGuy33 really nailed with the rest of the stuff in the episode. No need to repeat it, but I absolutely agree with everything that he said.
