Nickelodeon, the channel that this aired on, was known for having many in-your-face feet shots by the way. There's no shortage of Youtube videos that cover Dan Schneider's obsession with children's feet, btw. I don't think anyone buys the defense he gives.

2025-09-10 00:58:22 +0000 UTCToph makes great jokes about her own blindness, she's very funny! Sandbenders are just a faction of Earthbenders, like the foggy swamp tribe of Waterbenders. The foggy swamp tribe bends vines and propels their boats with motorboat-esque speed, their stance is different from the northern or southern tribes. It's the same with sandbenders, they simply live in a place with no firm earth, so they learned how to bend sand in a way that can somewhat mimic airbending (how they propel their sand gliders is by making a vortex of sand) and such! Any earthbender can sandbend, but no generic earthbender is gonna be better using exclusively sand than a sandbender.
