Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 3 Reaction/Review

that makes sense! even if their goal is the same they are from different countries. I really want to see such a clash it will be super interesting 😂

I guess no character in this show gets left behind. We even get a special segment for Bondman, who technically isn’t even a real character in the story🤣. As for W.I.S.E. and the S.S.S., they’re both working to maintain peace, but they can’t exactly be allies since they operate under different countries. From any nation’s perspective, spies are always a threat because of the sensitive information they can gather. Loid and Yuri are basically destined to clash at some point, and it’ll be interesting to see how Yor fits in as a third party.

that is horrible 😭

If only in real life spying on someone was this honest. I've heard a few stories from people who were unjustly and illegally arrested by my government and just held in captivity for a few days, only to be released a few days later because the government had nothing on them. In 2 of those cases their reputations were also destroyed by the media. Within hours there were articles on them using their real names, they lost their job and their family was confronted with being shunned by the ones around them (such as the children in school) and the ones they held captive were never even told why during their captivity, they only found out after they were released. So yeah their life was basically destroyed as a result. And no it's not like some communist country, it's in a western 'democratic' country. Not sure how anyone actually buys that though. We have elections once every 4 years where we can vote for parties that don't even do anything they promised to do (maybe one or two minor things sometimes if you're lucky) and usually do the opposite. Our mayors are chosen by the state, we have no referendums (and when we had them they had no power so that is why they were removed) and most of our laws in the past few decades have come straight from the big boys in the EU, none of whom has been elected democratically (yes, there are EU elections to vote for the European parliament, but that institution has no power. All they can do is make suggestions, that's it). Sorry for the rant. Long story short is basically that Yuri's part in this episode is actually far more honest and kind than what real life governments do. And that includes our own governments.

Oh Yuri, he has a soft spot for family. Regardless, he has a job, and choose to do it. The episode of Bondman reminded me of Lupin the 3rd.
