Just as a nice way to wrap things up and make things feel like they were coming full circle. In actuality, they never show up and Akane is not kidnapped again. If you noticed, they called her the "savior", so she's not someone that can easily be kidnapped anymore. I wonder if the movie is gonna keep that scene or just redo shadow's intro into his old world without the kidnappers.

Yet, Epsilon's mana control is so finely tuned, she figured it out. Cid was amazed by it and learned from her example. During the Cosmic Atomic, there was a figure in frontof a pile of stones. That was Zeta visiting something important to her in her tribal dress! Yes, the next arc is the return to Japan. But, according to both the source material and Kagejitsu, he did not go alone!
