2025-07-20 01:35:07 +0000 UTCI love this movie but there is one thing i wish they hadn't changed from the books. (Jurassic Park is based on the books by the same name.) I wish they didn't make Dr. Grant and Dr Sattler have romantic tension. In the books, Dr Grant is the professor and Ellie Sattler is his student who is much younger than him. Dr Grant had a wife but unfortunately she passed away. And Dr Grant was satisfied having only loved once. No need for romance. And i thought that mentality was beautiful, to remember his wife and never move on.

2025-07-13 01:50:16 +0000 UTCIt's quickly mentioned, but in addition to genetically ensuring that all the dinos are female, they added a gene to all of them that made it so they can't produce lysine in their bodies. Without lysine the dinos would eventually die on their own. This makes it so that the dinos need humans to give them lysine in their diet and any dinos that got loose into the wild could not survive. Also, you didn't linger on it long so I don't know if you fully convinced yourself, but when Nedry called Hammond "dad", he was being sarcastic and it was a joke about how Hammond at that moment was acting like a father who was putting his foot down on a matter that a child would be asking about.
