Alpha and the other descendants i assume they are actual descendants of the Three Heroes not only Olivier, I don't think the Anime has mentioned the other 2 yet but if you remember in episode 2 when Cid was telling Alpha about the curse he showed her the book about the Three Heroes. I think the novels went into more details but as was shown in flashbacks that the cult kidnapped and experimented on orphans to make super soldiers to fight Diablos only 3 survived the experiments becoming the Three Heroes, and the possessed being their descendants.
