OMG I was asking what happened to the girl, and I was also thinking why did the mother give up so fast and suicided herself like that. but now I see the reason why, she knew she wouldn't get her back. also this explains why Aria prayed for them at the end to let them both rest in peace, she already knew that the daughter also died. πππ I so didn't expect such tragedy in this anime πif they had included that part in the anime it would have been much much darker than it already is. I understand why they didn't. πππ

2025-03-01 18:06:10 +0000 UTCThis episode was so hard to watch honestly. Sometimes bad things happen to good people as the saying goes. There's something that the anime left out, I imagine because it's a dark pill to swallow. In the Manga, when the spirit is finally able to move on, there is frame where the mother and daughter are reunited in the afterlife, which basically tells the audience that the daughter was killed by what is presumed to be the Japanese yakuza and it's implied they kill her because they harvest people's organs if need be to cover debts so it's heavily implied that the yakuza took the daughter and harvested her organs to cover the mom's debt. And since the mom knew she was never getting her daughter back, she danced on top of a building and at the emotional peak of her dance threw herself off the building. A truly tragic end to an already tragic tale. I don't necessarily agree with leaving that part out of the anime but i can understand why they did so, it's not something most ppl want to see or even consider as a possibility that sometimes there is no good ending. But at least now she can rest in peace alongside her daughter. Truly truly just so incredibly sad, she deserved so much better
