the first and second season was the season they showed how great carm is and how highly his peers think of him and at that one restaurant where richie worked for a week or something, and then that dinner they went too with with chef terry, and carm seeing her leaving cooking and going home i think, so they did a lot of it then, and then backed off like you said and focused more on The Bear and the characters themselves that work there, bc at the dinner that one lady who was laying in bed with richie ex, and her man, were talking about bears and how they are actually compassionate or something along those lines, showing that dichotomy of compassion vs cruelty. I dont like that carm is leaving bc it sucks seeing someones passion die, but i understand completely

2025-09-19 18:08:39 +0000 UTCand i’m kinda seeing how they parallel The bear and Claire, at first carm thought claire was the distraction and stress, and not focusing on the restaurant as the problem. but then realized the last season going into this one, the real problem was dismissing everything from his past around the people that actually mattered, and not at meetings, and dumping that into the restaurant, making him not able to fully focus on things he actually needs to deal with, and also getting claire back bc of misinterpreting his feelings about where the problem lied and where the real issues were, plus sugar being the original one to tell farm if you don’t love this anymore, that’s okay.
