I love all the subtle nuances that's here. If you go back to look at the whole season, you can see all the clues that Loulan and Shisui are the same person. I knew it the moment I saw her since the two of them are the only people in the entire series with the same eye and hair color. And then there was Lakan talking to Jinshi and while he was spitting facts, I like the believability of that fact that Lahan went to get his uncle to keep his father in check. Lakan might be right, but he can't talk to the prince like that. If he kept going, especially fully knowing Jinshi's true identity, it would mean severe punishment for him and their entire family. Louman knew this and quickly took all Lakan's accusations onto himself and then pushed Lakan to ask Jinshi properly as one would ask an imperial prince. It's all so very good!
