2025-05-08 13:19:59 +0000 UTCI was definitely put off by the new art style along with the studio change at first as well.. but when I learned this style is more true to the manga I understood it. Its also more gritty which fits the second half of the series way more. Wit took liberties with the more round anime "cute" style which did fit the first three seasons. But the jarring change in character style also fits the jarring change themes to a more dark, eerie, morally grey direction. This rewatch has been peak 🔥
