Agreed! I rewatched DBZ not long ago, started with Kai but switched quickly because without the waiting, it's wayyy less impactful.

2025-03-08 05:44:47 +0000 UTCYou gotta watch OG DBZ (either music score option) for the first full through watch bro, Kai is great don’t get me wrong but OG just has a certain charm like dragon ball with it’s filler for the most part, both versions of dbz have their pros and cons and OG can have moments of some weird and corny dialogue compared to Kai but it’s just feels so much more like a complete journey. Either way no choice is the wrong choice but I just had to recommend the OG if you enjoyed all of Dragon ball. I honestly don’t mind the pacing of OG compared to Kai but the main issues of OG dub will be some moments of dialogue that can be a bit jarring. That said I know you will enjoy the rest of the journey with whatever option you choose. P.S. only like 40 episodes out 291 for OG DBZ are filler/filler mixed
