They’re all centuries old and tied a bell to the kid to keep track of him like a cat. Power scaling in this show is great cause it shows how a winning fighter is comprised of certain levels of strength combined with training and battle IQ. Naruto is another great example of a show like that. Started another rewatch and on the first mission Kakashi says Naruto has more Chakra(power than him) kinda like popo here. But just like Naruto kid gokus in experience pales in comparison to century old being not even men at this point. Kami is this shows God. And piccolo is the devil
