July's Illustration Pack Theme | Ninja

Each month, I commission artists to create several pieces to provide you with resources for your games in the form of NPC portraits, illustrated location scenes, miniatures and magic item illustrations.

This month's theme for the magic item illustrations is Ninjas to pair with an upcoming ninja town and training facility. The items are being drawn by artist Steven Bell, and I wanted to share one of the pieces with you today!

Ninja Yoroi of the Silent Shadow

This shadow-woven ninja uniform muffles sound and scent alike, making it nearly impossible for mundane means to detect them.

The clothing provides a +1 AC while not wearing armor and grants advantage on Stealth (Dexterity) checks. While attuned and wearing the armor, you don't make sound when you move and cannot be tracked by scent. While taking the Hide Action in darkness, you also gain immunity to being detected by divination magic, such as Detect Magic, Scrying, etc...

All of the rest of this month's Magic Item Illustrations and other art will be released to Patrons later this month.
