Black Noir spoke in season 3 during the flash back about Nicaragua. Soldier Boy bashed his head in with a shield and Noir lost part of his brain. If he could regenerate from that, then regenerating his intestines shouldn't be a problem.

Frenchie was NEVER a straight man to start with and they have been saying that since like season 2. I believe in one of the seasons he had a boyfriend that overdosed ( told not shown ). When it comes to Kimiko, remember they finally kissed on the last episode of last season. But Kimiko said kissing Frenchie felt "strange". So that ended everything right there.
