2022-10-17 15:23:14 +0000 UTCFrom what I've learned growing up and being around cars, the sleeper car is a car that is a daily driver and there are no exterior mods to it. No exhaust either. All the money goes into the engine, drivetrain and rear end. So take like a 1996 Buick Century or Honda Accord. Both these cars can be sleepers because they are not known for their speed, one is known for luxury and the other for gas mileage. But drop a bigger engine in the Buick and put turbos on the Honda and you have a quicker car. The farm truck in the video isn't a sleeper, I've seen it before, it has drag tires on it. And I really don't count anything that can be considered a sports car, like in the video there were two Mitsubishi Evo's which is pretty much the same as a Subaru Impreza STI. Han, take your car for example, it isn't know for speed, so it can be classified as a sleeper. What I love is, people will spend millions on cars because of their name and how fast they go. I can go to a junkyard spend a tenth, and make a faster car.
