Tbh I think it would be a little boring for players to just make a "good" version of House Tarkanan? It would be more interesting imo to have House Tarkanan itself evolve through the players' influence. I don't want it to become "heroic" really, but I think it could certainly become more sympathetic if they started actually taking some kind of action against the Dragonmarked Houses. There's certainly more than enough reason for that besides just that they treat people with abberant marks badly. Generally I just think it's more interesting to have a group that is genuinely fighting for a good cause & achieving something, but doing it through sometimes quite fucked up & ruthless methods, than just another story about how these people fighting their systemic opression are doing it the Wrong Way actually
