It's actually a 15~16th century high general's lamellar armor (์ฐฐ๊ฐ). General Yi likely wore this type of armor. Popular media usually depicts General Yi wearing red brigandine (๋์ ๊ฐ) or scale armor (๋์๋ฆฐ๊ฐ), but these types of armor were primarily used around 100~200 years after Yi Soon-Shin's time.
