Next Update Plans, Development Roadmap, and Another Bugfix/Patch

Alright, I don't want to spam this feed with a ton of posts, but I just wanted to give an idea of what to expect in the next week or two and in the more distant future regarding updates. There were a couple of issues like the Gourmand's event not showing up in the gallery and Sakura's immobile picture getting cloned on the sidebar, but those should be fixed now. Unless there are any super pressing bugfixes from now on, I don't think I'll be making any more posts specifically dedicated to them. There's also a new feature where weight stage descriptions can be viewed in the gallery, so feel free to check that out!

Now, regarding the next content update, a few things are planned. Obviously this is all subject to change, but the general checklist is as follows:

Following that, I'll probably start polling about what people want to see in terms of how events and enemies are added, along with what the third layer is going to look like. However, I expect for the next major update following the aforementioned one above to primarily focus on the implementation of a new party member. The identity of this party member has also already been determined by me, but future party members will be decided by content polls here on Patreon.

Is the warden one of the planned characters? Because the gourmand said something about her malice not being her own. I was wondering if that meant we would be able to free her to get her as a petty member or ally?

Thanks for the review! I'm glad the game managed to exceed your expectations. The issue with Sakura's immobile image should be fixed now, so thanks for reporting that. The balance in the Palace is a little out of whack right now as I didn't have a ton of time to properly test it, so that's something that I'm going to be working on over time. Regarding the less developed events and items, those are also something that I'm trying to address in the future. Some of the weaker events like the stash and financial were made pretty early in development, and I think that their quality reflects that. However, I'm happy to say that a fair few of those events like Penitentiary Financial and the Auric Veneration are already planned to be expanded upon in the future. I also can't promise that every skill will receive special energized effects, but what I will say is that future party members will definitely be playing with energy in very different ways. Once again, thanks for the feedback!

I wanted to leave a “short” review of this game and thought this was an ok place to do it. First, the game blew my expectations out of the water. I followed the game's updates from the slide lines and thought this seemed a fine enough fetish game, but I was mistaken. The gameplay was fun and intriguing. The characters had good designs, but their personalities were even better. And the story is unexpectedly enjoyable, and I’m eagerly awaiting how it continues. So, in conclusion, congratulations on releasing an excellent game. However, I think some minor details could be improved in future builds. 1. The Sakura’s immobile picture cloning glitch still occurs in the malfunction and Misfortune event. 2. Difficulty between the first and second areas is weird, considering that in my experience, the enemies and boss in the first area are more challenging than their counterparts in the second area. 3. Some events, such as The Enforcer’s Stash, Penitentiary Financial and The Auric Veneration, feel half-baked and need some exciting choices and detailed storytelling to be more interesting. Those three need the most work, and there are a couple that could be fixed by minor improvements, such as An Overfed Inmate. 4. Many of the items feel unimpactful. Either their effect is so minor that it does not matter, or the downside is way too harsh compared to the upside. Maybe cutting the bland items with minor effects completely and improving the ones with downsides would make the item system more engaging. 5. The last aspect I want to mention is more of a hope than criticism. I think the energy system is fun and gives the player interesting choices, so I hope that in the future, if not all moves, then most moves will have special effects that trigger when energy is used.
