Hi everyone!

First of all, if you are a Windows Desktop PC or Windows Laptop user or Android user, this change WILL NOT affect you.

Just a couple mins ago, patreon sent out a new notification, that starting from November 2024, Patreon and Apple will make changes on how they handle platform fees. If you are on iOS device and using Apple store, any patreon creator you are subbed to, you will pay 30% more than the real price. And when you add tax to this, the difference between price is massive and unfair for supporters!

Here's a easy and effective solution:

Are you using an iOS PC or Apple phone? If your answer is yes; are you using patreon app from Apple Store? If your answer is yes, have you created your account from Apple Device or iOS PC? If your answer is yes, unsubscribe from any creator you are subbed to before November 2024 and then create new account via Android phone browser or Windows PC browser / Windows Laptop browser. Then subscribe to the creator you want to support from there. You can download anything you want from that device, transfer to your iOS device. This way, you will not pay extra tax, extra 30% payment. And all this money will go directly to Apple. Not to creator, not to patreon. And Apple should not get your money to themself.

This is why i always tell you guys not to use iOS device / Apple phone to make purchases. Because they charge you way too extra.
