1.0.0 Status Update

So, we're nearly to the end of January, which means the public release should be going out... unfortunately we somewhat underestimated just how much art is involved with this release, as we're not just covering the normal needs of outfits/scenes... but also the games (many) ending variants. Rather than push things out as is, we have decided to hold back the public release to February so that we can release it in a more properly complete state.
To add a bit of a positive spin on things, however, this additional time will not only result in more art (see some teasers below), but also additional content, as we'll be pulling forward a chunk of content from 1.0.1 to take 1.0.0 from being a "normal" sized release (105k words) to being the largest release to date (on every meteric: not only beating out 0.9.4's 152k words/701 passages, but also packing in over 650 achievements).
We apologise for this delay, but 1.0.0 is a major milestone and we want to do the best that we can. Expect a new pre-release version with some more art + most of the additional scenes by the 10th.
Finally, for those wondering about the future post-1.0.0. We've already been doing planning on the next game, expect an official announcement after 1.0.0 is out. While we work towards having an initially playable demo of said "next game" we will be doing a bit more on secretary. Since we'll be splitting work between two games these will be smaller releases (in the 50k vicinity, rather than the 100k+ that has been the norm for the past two years), aiming to fill in things that were hinted at or left by the wayside, as well as various quality of life improvements and polish (and, of course, a bit of backer-voted bits and bobs).
