Healing.

In the midst of a profound journey, I found myself navigating through the shadows of my past, haunted by anxiety and PTSD. Determined, I embraced change, rediscovering joy through revisiting old styles that resonated with my true self.

As I sailed through the river of life, December marked a turning point. Choosing to simply embrace the flow and vibe with the present, I felt a newfound purpose. Awaiting ADHD medication for focus, I eased into a plan of taking life easy, unburdened by the weight of executive dysfunction.

Reveling in the joy of existence, I embarked on a creative journey, inspired by the newfound sense of purpose. Unveiling a life previously clouded in darkness, I discarded the anticipation of an elusive future. In the midst of this self-discovery, I realized the impact of my past experiences, navigating a Uroboros-like cycle in a distant land.

Then, in California, amidst the urban pulse, a random TikTok revelation sparked a cinematic experience. Two vibrant dancers in a train car, surrounded by industrial landscapes, painted a vivid scene. The music crescendoed as we entered a tunnel, momentarily cloaked in darkness before emerging into a brighter light.

Leaving behind the city's dance, I walked towards a gathering spot, feeling the rhythm of "Pure/Honey." Immersed in the affirming atmosphere, surrounded by fellow LGBTQIA+ individuals, I discovered a space where my true self felt validated and safe.

Referencing these experiences, I decided to create a comic, reigniting my passion for drawing. Surrounded by a community that embraced me for who I am, I found the most affirming and validating experience for my true self.

The idea of a new comic, born from newfound inspiration, serves as a powerful tool for healing. Amidst challenges, such as the harsh reality for LGBTQ individuals in Russia, labeled as extremists under oppressive laws, I've decided not to wait any longer. In that space, nothing seems to matter; all I need is some rest to reclaim a bit of sanity.

The delay was inconsequential, for in my journey of self-discovery, I confidently embraced the fun and new adventures on the horizon, ready to unveil the chapters yet to be written.

I hope all of that conveyed a sense of promise.
