[Process] Gold Bikini Abby (with psd & backstory)

hi! Today I will tell you about the work process of Abby, the gold bikini I painted last week.

I thought about the design of this painting for a very long time. When I first sketched this picture, I was thinking of this style of string bikini, like these!

However, the silhouettes of her hair and necklace overlapped frustratingly, so I ended up going with a different design.

This is the step by step coloring process :3

The 3rd and 4th images are before and after color tone work, but you may not be able to notice a big difference in the change. If you look closely, the colors are actually slightly different. I took a picture with an eyedropper and uploaded it so you can compare. Can you see the color change to a softer feeling?👀

The sparkle in the background was drawn using a two-point perspective to focus on Abby.

If you use two-point perspective by shining a spotlight on a Object, you will have the effect of focusing more attention on the Object.

The "GOLDEN WEEK!" text also has same perspective effect!

*The text in the picture is drawn directly without using a separate font. Depending on the situation, it may be used, but it feels more natural to draw it myself.

I love this work visually😳The gold really goes well with gyaru!

Especially Abby has a particularly strong feeling of being a typical gyaru, so flashy things suit her well.
