
If I need to draw two versions of a character: the one took off and the one dressd in, I usually draw the character took off first and then add layers of clothing on top of it (Sometimes it's the opposite)
Because it is easier to complete a picture efficiently this way. When drawing a dressed-up version,I have to describe the flesh that is folded by the clothes.
As you can see from the rough sketch and speed painting video, this was originally painted as an oc sitting on the pumpkin, but the pumpkin hurt its aesthetic, so I removed it and drew it later. Often as I go through the coloring process, I add or delete props like this.
And the coloring of the soft belly uses mostly airbrushes, which is how I often use the description with both a magic wand tool (mask tool) and an airbrush.
