You can kinda know by noticing the small hints they give, but generally speaking it will get clearer with more time/when you just keep going. They like to play with the timeline a bit & perspectives aswell, as this arc is the first time we exit the "Araragi" pov and switch it into Hanekawas. Anyways, hopefully you will keep enjoying your time! :)
