GINGER CONTRAST
Two months ago I was honored to be visited by my friend and muse Erna O’Hara. She is one of my favorite people to work with for a variety of reasons. First, she’s easy, knowing exactly what she wants, how to move, how to style herself, etc. Secondly, she is smart and experienced, able to creatively challenge you and have deep, sincere, meaningful conversations that sometimes a 19 year old model may not be able to.
She stayed the night at the house with my wife and I, and in the morning, after shooting and having a great dinner the night before, we spontaneously shot this series presented to you now. She has these vintage leather biker pants, with the stains from the seat of a longtime bike rider on the inner thighs. They fit her splendidly, and yet they are so tight she can’t even sit down in them. I had just set up a white, seamless backdrop for the first time in my life at home and was excited to break it in, so it was a distinct pleasure to be able to break it in with her.
