PLAYING IT OUT

Over the 20-plus years I’ve worked with models, I have taken a lot of test shoots with many, many people. Some are successes, some are a little disappointing, others don’t work out for a variety of reasons. Still, there are some that go well and that I wish could have become longer collaborative relationships that seem to fizzle through no fault of anyone. This series is one of those.

Andrea and I connected via Instagram years ago, almost a decade now. We ended up shooting a few times over that time period, but each time felt like a new test shoot. We never were able to create a long-lasting collaborative friendship that we both wanted, I believe, and for that I’m sorry. However, I do have the evidence that she was a great natural model with a ton of potential. She still models occasionally in Los Angeles, working on various projects of her own and I wish her only the best.
