Tycoon Actor C490

The stadium thundered with roars and wild cheers. It was chaos—in the best way. A wave of disbelief rippled through the crowd.

No one saw it coming.

Who would've guessed that the most talked-about celebrity in the world would pull off such a stunt? From blockbuster films to chart-topping music, from high-profile projects to headline-making scandals—Lucas Knight had become a living legend. His life had been an open book of cinematic drama, family trials, and most recently, an attempted assassination.

To say his name was everywhere would be an understatement.

If someone claimed not to know who he was, you’d get responses like:

“Are you living in a cave?”

And they wouldn’t be joking.

Lucas Knight had amassed 187 million Twitter followers—just shy of 200 million—and had sparked more debates than most politicians. Whether it was talent, controversy, or sheer magnetism, people couldn’t stop talking about him. And now, at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, he had pulled off the greatest twist of all:

Lucas Knight… was Marshmello.

Or so everyone believed.

The crowd was electric. Some screamed “Lucas Knight!” Others yelled “Marshmello!” It was a chaotic blend of names and emotions as phones were raised, flashes lit up the air, and social media exploded in real time.

Onstage, the female host, Hailey Baldwin, stood frozen, clearly rattled but trying to keep her cool.

“Wait, hold on… is this real?” she asked, eyebrows raised. “Other than being an actor, you're telling me you’re also a secret DJ? You’re Marshmello?”

The crowd screamed louder, almost vibrating the arena.

Lucas, still holding the mic, tried to keep a straight face but nearly choked on laughter. He covered his mouth to stop from bursting out.

Hailey blinked at him. “Hey, what? Did I say something funny?” She turned to the audience, “I mean, I’m asking the real questions here! Imagine if Lucas Knight has been Marshmello this whole time! That would be insane, right?”

Cheers. Laughter. Applause.

In the audience, Christopher—the real Marshmello—and Moe were doubled over laughing.

“She's hilarious,” Christopher wheezed. “Bless her heart, she really thinks I’m him and he’s me.”

Moe chuckled. “Best prank ever. I don't think anyone’s going to top this.”

Onstage, Lucas struggled to keep a straight face. But then, as he glanced at Hailey Baldwin—jet-black hair shimmering under the stage lights—a sudden realization struck him.

‘Wait… isn’t she the one who ends up marrying Bieber in the future?’ he thought with quiet amusement.

Then came the male host—none other than DJ Khaled—leaning in with a sparkle of curiosity in his eye. “Wait a minute… are you really Marshmello?” he asked, sounding half-convinced and half-stunned.

‘Oh no… not Khaled too,’ Lucas chuckled to himself. ‘They really think I’m him.’

He cleared his throat, suppressing a grin. A mischievous glint flickered in his eyes. “Well… keeping my identity a secret has been difficult,” he said, slowly raising the mic. “So I guess it’s time I admit the truth right here, right now…”

He paused dramatically.

“I am indeed… the rising star DJ—Marshmello!”

The crowd exploded.

Gasps rippled across the arena. The hosts' jaws dropped. DJ Khaled shouted “Another one!?” in disbelief.

Hailey was covering her mouth in shock, clearly buying into the moment. But not everyone was fooled—some fans began catching the playful tone in Lucas’s voice.

“This man is taking it way too far,” Christopher said from the audience, laughing so hard he nearly fell off his seat. “But I love it.”

Meanwhile, the iHeartRadio livestream on YouTube was going wild.

It had started with its usual numbers—between 13,000 to 19,000 viewers—but the moment Lucas Knight walked onstage, views spiked to 25,000. Then 30,000… 47,000… and climbing.

The live chat box was a blur of rapid-fire comments:

“OMG is this real? Lucas is Marshmello!?”

“No freakin’ way. Dude was just nearly assassinated weeks ago—now he's the biggest DJ on Earth too?”

“I just read an article that he's acquiring Twitter. And now he's here… unannounced?? This man has to have ADHD.”

The chat rolled so fast the admins couldn't even moderate properly. Super chats and donations began flooding in—$10, $20, even $50—just to get their messages pinned:

“Lucas is the most chaotic icon in history and I’m here for it.”

“Plot twist of the century.”

It was pandemonium.

Truly, Lucas Knight might be the only celebrity whose fame is so stratospheric, yet whose actions are so unpredictable, no one can ever guess what he’ll do next—today, tomorrow, or even five minutes from now. His entire public persona seemed to thrive on spontaneity.

Back on stage, after soaking in the chaos, Lucas finally decided to drop the act. He raised a hand, grinning beneath the spotlight.

"Alright, alright. I’ve had my fun," he said, voice carrying through the mic. "I’m not Marshmello. He’s actually a good friend of mine who asked me to prank everyone tonight."

Laughter erupted from the hosts. They rolled with it smoothly, as if already resigned to the idea that anything Lucas said could flip the show upside down—and somehow make it better.

In her seat, Taylor Swift smirked and shook her head. “I knew it,” she muttered. She had seen through Lucas’s antics the moment he stepped on stage. She’d worked with him before; she knew this kind of chaos was exactly his brand of humor.

Meanwhile, at the BTS section, Namjoon simply nodded to himself. Having known the real Marshmello—and knowing Lucas too—he had no doubt from the start that this was one of those playful stunts only Lucas could pull off with such confidence.

Back on stage, Hailey leaned closer to Lucas and whispered without the mic, “Can I get a picture with you later?”

Lucas nodded with an easy smile. “No problem.”

DJ Khaled wasn’t shy either. “Yo, Lucas. Let’s link up after the show, yeah? Been wanting to collab for a while now.”

Lucas gave him a fist bump. “Let’s talk later. Sounds good.”

With that, he slipped the Marshmello helmet back on, mimicked the DJ’s iconic walk, and waved to the roaring crowd as he stepped down and made his way back to his seat.

The chaos slowly subsided with his exit. The audience finally calmed down. The ceremony resumed its rhythm, slightly delayed, but no one minded. If anything, Lucas’s prank became the highlight of the night.

And backstage, the iHeartRadio executives were secretly thrilled. The Livestream metrics had exploded: YouTube, Facebook, Vine—each platform was now registering over 100,000 concurrent viewers and still rising.

Even without Lucas on stage, a single camera shot zooming in on him during the show caused the chat to spike again.

He was a walking headline, a real-time viral moment.

Even with titans like Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber in the room—Lucas Knight stole the spotlight without even trying.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards had finally wrapped up. As the lights dimmed and the confetti settled, fans surged forward, hoping for a chance to get close to the night’s biggest stars—Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Shawn Mendes… and of course, the unexpected show-stealer: Lucas Knight.

But instead of basking in fanfare, Lucas was currently on the receiving end of a very pointed scolding from his former agent, Vincent.

“You’ve gotta be kidding me, kid,” Vincent said, arms crossed, brows furrowed. “I flew all the way here, stood up there like some proud representative, gave a whole damn speech on your behalf—and then you show up like it’s nothing?”

Lucas tried not to laugh. He could see the frustration, and honestly, Vincent had every right to be mad. But he also knew how to flip the switch on him.

“Come on, Vincent. You know me—always up for a little pranks.” He leaned in slightly, lowering his voice with a grin. “Besides, did you catch the news about Twitter? I’ve got ten billion lined up for that blue bird, but those board directors? Real tough cookies. What would you do if you were in my shoes?”

Vincent blinked, the sudden topic change catching him completely off guard. “Wait, what—? You just—” He squinted. “Did you seriously just dodge my scolding with a ten-billion-dollar flex?”

Lucas chuckled, raising a brow.

Vincent sighed and gave in. “Fine. I did hear about it. It’s plastered all over the news. You’re really offering ten billion for Twitter? That’s insane. Literal billions. You think I have advice for that kind of money?” He scoffed. “I’ve never even seen ten million in one place, let alone ten billion. You’re on your own there, buddy.”

Lucas shrugged, looking amused. “Fair enough. But you’ve been dipping your toes into business lately. Maybe you could lend Miles a hand with the negotiation? Think of it as being in the room where it happens.”

Vincent hesitated, then smirked. “I doubt I’ll be much help… but I won’t lie, I’m curious. So yeah. You’ve got yourself a maybe.”

Lucas smiled. Mission success.

"By the way, here's your damn trophy," Vincent grumbled, handing Lucas the iHeartRadio award he'd been holding onto all evening.

Lucas took it with a grin. "Thanks for babysitting it."

Just then, a familiar voice called out, slightly breathless. "There you are."

Lucas turned to see Taylor Swift approaching, her eyes alight with recognition.

"Taylor," he greeted warmly, and the two shared a friendly hug. Their chemistry was easy—familiar.

Vincent, seeing his cue, gave Lucas a pat on the back. "Don't pull stunts like that again, kid," he muttered with a half-smile before walking off.

"You really had the whole place spinning," Taylor said with a chuckle. "Didn’t expect to see you here pretending to be someone else."

Lucas laughed. "Yeah, it was kind of a last-minute thing. I’ve been itching for something fun. Jennifer's out working on a new project, and me? Unemployed—unless you count the Netflix business and trying to buy Twitter."

"Unemployed, huh?" Taylor raised a brow playfully. "No acting offers?"

"There are offers," Lucas sighed. "But Neil’s been keeping things quiet lately. The whole assassination attempt kind of put a weird pause on things."

He didn’t say it out loud, but deep down, he was grateful. That incident had helped unlock a new evolution of his Mind Workshop—a breakthrough that let him simulate reality more freely, even outside his projects. He was still discovering the full extent of it.

Taylor gave him a soft smile. "Well, I hope you find something soon. I’m your biggest fan, you know. I expect at least one Lucas Knight movie a year. No exceptions."

Lucas felt a rare warmth stir in him. Her words meant more than she probably realized.

Then, her tone shifted, a bit more serious. "I actually wanted to talk to you about Twitter."

Lucas tilted his head. "Yeah? What about it?"

"If you really do acquire it…" Taylor began, her voice steady but gentle, "I’d like to ask for something." She paused for a moment, choosing her words carefully. "Back when I spoke out against my former record label, I was hit with waves of harassment and bot attacks. It felt like someone was deliberately weaponizing the platform against me."

She glanced up at him, her tone steady but resolute. "And honestly… it’s not just me. A lot of female artists, activists, and public figures go through the same thing. If you're going to take the reins of Twitter, I hope you’ll use that influence to make it safer. Not just against censorship—but against being silenced."

Lucas blinked, slightly surprised she knew about his planned overhaul for Twitter’s moderation system. Then again, it made sense. Miles had touched on it during interviews, and several articles had speculated on his intentions. She was well-informed—he shouldn’t have expected anything less.

At the same time, he felt a pang of sympathy. In this reality, Taylor had already broken away from her former agency earlier in 2018, and the backlash from speaking out had been harsh. Lucas could only imagine how overwhelming the digital assault had been.

He met her gaze, his expression turning solemn. “You’re asking for real moderation. Not just freedom of speech—but freedom from abuse.”

Taylor nodded firmly. “Your right. People shouldn’t have to trade safety just to have a voice.”

Lucas’s serious look softened into something warmer, more sincere. “You have my word, Taylor. If the deal goes through—I’ll make sure Twitter becomes a place where voices can rise, not get drowned out by noise and hate.”

A smile slowly spread across her face, sincere and relieved. “Good. Because if anyone can actually make that happen… it’s you.”

To hear such confidence from someone like Taylor Swift—someone Lucas once thought was unreachable in his previous life—meant more than he could express.

“Thanks for the compliment,” he said with a warm smile.

They caught up a little longer, chatting comfortably, until BTS surrounded them. The group greeted Lucas and Taylor, asking for a group photo.

Then came Hailey Baldwin and DJ Khaled, who also joined in for pictures, the buzz around Lucas still strong.

After the photos, DJ Khaled pulled Lucas aside. “Yo, man, let’s talk later about that collab. I’ve got some ideas that’ll blow people’s minds.”

Lucas smiled, nodding noncommittally. “Sure, let’s talk soon.”

Truthfully, he wasn’t committing to anything yet—he was just humoring the moment.

As the chaos wound down, Lucas’s phone buzzed. Neil Lamb.

He didn’t need to check the message to know what was coming. Still, he opened it.

"You do realize your life is still in danger, right? Why would you appear at a live event with no visible security? Where’s your detail?"

Lucas sighed, rubbing his forehead. He knew this call was coming and braced himself.

With a resigned breath, he answered the phone and began explaining.

While Lucas dealt with Neil’s scolding, something else quietly launched on the Netflix platform.

A new Korean survival thriller—unannounced, with minimal marketing—dropped all its episodes in one batch.

At first, it seemed like just another experimental project buried in Netflix’s ever-growing catalog.

No one knew that this seemingly random release, Squid Game, would soon explode into a global cultural phenomenon.
