Some accompanied reading material:

Once upon a time, there was a high school student named Max who wasn’t doing so well in his history class. He was teetering on the edge of failing, and the thought of repeating the year filled him with dread. Max knew he had to do something drastic, so he decided to strike a deal with Mr. Thompson, his history teacher, who was known for his unorthodox methods.

“Mr. Thompson,” Max said after class one day, “is there any way I can earn extra credit? I’m desperate here.”

Mr. Thompson, with a twinkle in his eye, thought for a moment before proposing a deal. “Tell you what, Max,” he said, leaning back in his chair. “If you can finish an entire pizza in one sitting, I’ll give you one extra credit point. But you have to do it after school, right here in this classroom.”

Max’s eyes widened. He loved pizza, and this seemed like an easy way to boost his grade. Without hesitation, he agreed to the deal.

The next day, Max stayed after class with a large pepperoni pizza. He was confident he could eat the whole thing, but as he got halfway through, he started to struggle. Still, the thought of that extra credit point kept him going. After what felt like an eternity, he managed to finish the entire pizza. Mr. Thompson handed him one extra credit point with a smile and a nod.

But one point wasn’t enough. Max needed more. He started staying after class every day, determined to earn as much extra credit as possible. At first, it was tough. Max found himself painfully full after each attempt, but over time, his appetite grew. After a few weeks, he could easily polish off an entire pizza without breaking a sweat. It became a ritual—every day, Max would sit in the empty classroom, devouring a pizza while Mr. Thompson graded papers.

As the weeks went by, Max’s grade steadily improved. He was nearing 100 extra credit points when he couldn’t resist bragging to his friends about his secret strategy. They were amazed, but as they looked at Max, they noticed something else had changed too.

Max had always been a slim guy, but now, his clothes were fitting a lot tighter. His once-loose jeans were now straining against his thighs, and his shirts clung to his chest and arms. Most noticeably, Max’s belly had grown significantly. What started as a small gut had ballooned into a round, protruding belly that jiggled with every step he took.

Max hadn’t really noticed the weight he was putting on—he was too focused on his extra credit mission. But now, he couldn’t ignore it. His reflection in the mirror showed a much heavier version of himself. His face was fuller, his cheeks puffier, and his midsection dominated by a bulging belly that pressed against his shirt, forcing the fabric to stretch. Even his friends couldn’t help but make comments.

“Dude, how many pizzas have you eaten?” one of them asked, poking Max’s stomach.

Max laughed it off, but deep down, he knew he had gone overboard. The pizzas were adding up, not just in extra credit points, but in pounds. Yet, despite the obvious downside, he kept going. The thrill of earning points and the routine he’d fallen into were too hard to break. Max was on a mission, and even if it meant outgrowing his clothes, he was determined to see it through.

_______________________________________

By the end of the term, Max had grown extremely fat. The once slim student was now almost unrecognizable. His appetite, honed through weeks of devouring pizzas for extra credit, had transformed his body in ways he never imagined.

Max’s pants, which used to fit comfortably, were now a daily struggle. Most of them didn’t fit at all anymore, the waistbands refusing to close around his much larger middle. The few pairs he could still squeeze into were stretched to their limits, often splitting open at the seams if he bent over too quickly or sat down too forcefully. His belly had grown so large and round that it pushed out in front of him, hanging over his waistband and jiggling with every movement.

The buttons on his shirts were also fighting a losing battle. They strained against his bloated gut, the fabric pulled so tight that gaps formed between the buttons, exposing the pale, soft flesh of his belly. Sometimes, with a sharp movement or a particularly deep breath, one of the buttons would pop off, ricocheting across the room. His chest, once flat, had softened considerably, developing into noticeable moobs that stretched his shirts even further.

Max’s newfound bulk also slowed him down. He found himself out of breath with tasks that used to be easy, like walking up a flight of stairs or even just getting out of a chair. His gait had changed too; he had developed a bit of a waddle as his thick thighs rubbed together and his belly swayed from side to side. Even his burps, which were frequent thanks to all the pizza, had become deeper and louder, echoing through the halls and causing his friends to snicker.

His once firm midsection had turned into a massive, soft orb, round and heavy, protruding far out in front of him. His belly dominated his figure, jiggling slightly with every step, and resting on his lap when he sat down. The weight gain had also softened his arms, legs, and face, rounding out his features and adding chins beneath his once sharp jawline.

Max’s transformation into the fattest kid in school didn’t go unnoticed by his classmates, and it wasn’t long before the teasing started. His friends, who once admired his clever strategy for earning extra credit, now couldn’t resist poking fun at how much he had ballooned. They jokingly called him “Max-imum” and “Pizza King,” constantly ribbing him for being the fattest kid in school. Max laughed along with them, but the teasing stung, especially when he realized there was some truth behind their jokes.

One of the most embarrassing moments happened during gym class. As Max bent over to pick up a basketball, he heard a loud rip. The entire class turned to see Max’s pants split open, exposing his silly white briefs for everyone to see. The laughter echoed through the gym, and Max’s face turned bright red as he awkwardly tried to cover himself. His friends had a field day with that one, and the nickname “Ripsy” stuck with him for weeks.

But the embarrassing incidents didn’t stop there. Max’s bulk had made even sitting down a challenge. One day, after history class, he tried to stand up from his desk, only to realize his belly had wedged itself between the armrests of the chair. He struggled to free himself, but his round belly kept him stuck. As he wriggled and strained, his friends couldn’t help but laugh, offering half-hearted help while snapping pictures of his predicament. Eventually, he had to push himself up with all his might, and when he finally popped free, he was left panting, his face flushed with embarrassment.

These incidents became all too common for Max. Walking down the hall, he’d hear whispers and giggles as people pointed out how his belly jiggled with every step. Sometimes, his stomach would growl loudly in class, prompting snickers from those around him. And when he tried to squeeze into a desk that was now too small for his girth, the creaking wood only added to his humiliation.

Max’s life had become a series of awkward, embarrassing moments, all because of the deal he struck with Mr. Thompson. The extra credit points had saved his grade, but they came at the cost of his dignity—and a whole lot of pants.

By the time the semester ended, Max had earned more than enough extra credit to pass the class with flying colors. But as he looked at the final grade on his report card, he couldn’t help but glance down at his swollen belly, now spilling over his waistband. Max had won the extra credit game, but the real question was: had it been worth the weight?
