Shapeshifter Rewrite

As I hinted at in the past, I've finally gotten around to rewriting Shapeshifter. When I first posted it, I did so without a sufficient backlog, a hastily assembled system, and I also fell ill during the RS run, resulting in a hiatus while at rank 1 RS. While I don't expect the repost to do much better than the original run, I'm far happier with the story now and want to write it to completion. As of writing this, I've written over ten new chapters since RoyalRoad left off, just to confirm the story's direction, and I'm loving it.

I will be posting all the chapters here on this Patreon page in the coming days and weeks, and then I will attempt another run on RoyalRoad. Regardless of how it does on RR, I'm aiming for a steady release schedule of around 2+ chapters a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) until I have enough content to launch it on Amazon.

Change log:

• New opening + new characters introduced from the human side.

• Chapters 21 and 22 have been deleted and rewritten, removing the weird demon god thingy I had going on (I was reading Chainsaw Man at the time, and it messed with me, haha)

• Stats have been removed from the system. It now focuses far more on his forms and skills.

• There's now a single massive World Dungeon connecting all the continents rather than hundreds of individual dungeons.

• MC doesn't need to obtain variants to get better evolutions anymore. Instead, devouring rare variants will upgrade current forms.

For those who have never heard of Shapeshifter, here is the new synopsis:

In a world where most Hunters are limited to a few skills, he alone can possess a seemingly unlimited number. Despite being the enemy of both humans and monsters, nothing will stop Xen's rise to power. After all, the most dangerous of foes is the one that wears many faces—plays both sides—and reaps all the benefits.
