I needed the time to myself to think, and recharge the old batteries. I have some good news and bad news. I'll start with the bad. The Extra Lord - I will no longer be writing the story. It's been a struggle to come to terms with the decision, but I figured I'd put my big boy pants on and do it now. I'm not happy with it. I had the initial idea of the story, and not much else after that. I don't like where it's going. I don't like the power. As a relatively new writer, I am still learning. Unfortunately, it takes writing the story and uploading it to take that learning and absorb it. How will I make sure I write a story that I enjoy? Honestly, planning and waiting. From now on, whichever new story I write, I'll write 20k words or so, plan two books, then sit on it for a while and make sure I REALLY want to write it. I'm sorry for those who enjoy it, but I can't see myself writing it long term. Good news - Otherworld Volunteer (Monster Jousting) - Chapters will resume 3x week on Monday, maybe 5x week, but I'll see how I'm feeling. I have 4 books planned, and I intend to write them to completion. Deadly Persuasion - Last chapter will be written on Monday and fully uploaded to RR on the day. I've struggled with the ending, but I'm happy with the latest rendition of the chapter. I have a few new stories written, but as I've said before, I intend on sitting on them for awhile before committing to posting on Patreon. Thank you to those who still support me. Writing is hard. It takes a lot of time and mental energy, and it can be exhausting. But it's worth it. I plan on writing for a long time yet, and with that, I will make mistakes. I just need to learn from them, and not make them again. Thank you again.
