Hi Tom , been following you for a long time and here you get the analysis completely wrong, not for many references (all white men?) does your point make any sense, nor does Ezra have any kind of insight in his new book, it’s the same stuff from the reactionaries that want (as Ezra) want to take the rules back to where the only power is money. As we move closer and closer to a world where only money counts and rights are completely contingent. You millennials miss the point of the faith it took and the energy to codify and gain the advances of the last sixty years. You gravely underestimate the forces that oppose liberalism, and this video only throws more despair without saying anything about all that liberalism did win for all members of our societies and how EVERY single step of the way there was a powerful and much richer opposition fighting hard. Easy now from your historical perspective to wag your finger. Not useful, fair or smart IMHO. We will have to reimagine how we move forward but it will certainly NOT be in the way you or Ezra imagine , stepping back will only mean the rich and powerful will capture every centimeter of ground we cede
