Thank you for the analysis. I have found it very interesting (I enjoyed it very much!) However, I think part of the same ideas have been discussed previously. While I was thinking on your conclusions I recalled “Sullivan’s travels” (1941) and I thought that somehow, we have not changed so much. We are still going to movies searching for the same confort. Anyway, you have given me a lot to think about. Thanks!

So many feel they need their voices heard in a world where 80% of us don’t care about anything other than ourselves.. it’s the result of a couple of generations of overly protective parenting and the narcissistic tendencies that come from being told , “you’re amazing” all the time.
