Hi! Hopefully you’ve all been holding on nice and tight this year. I hope you’re doin well. Thanks for all the new members of our discord, it’s been a blast!
I wanted to share something I did to warm back up to work on Jamie. I’m really happy with this ;; and I’ll likely put the print in the collection I’ll be sending $10 patrons when the hiatus is over.

But yeah, work on The Dog Knight and Northranger has been sapping my emotional, physical, and spiritual energy.  It def ate into my time and motivation for Jamie too but, it’s coming back! I kind of regret having to take on so much work just to make ends meet at the time, because it’s taking so long... idk if the investment will have been worth the pay... butI swear I will go into the following years with better planning now that I have a bit saved up - I won’t be so desperate. I dont want to sound like I’m complaining, but I am, to a certain point. There isn’t enough time or energy in a day to do all that I want to do lol!
At least I’m finally done planning those books, the pencils are all done and now it’s just inks and final art. I even convinced the editors to hire me a colorist for a Dog Knight so that is 4 months of work I do not have to do and Jamie can take that space as a priority!
I was asked to illustrate another book next year and I know that would be good for my career but I have 2 more years of The Dog Knight (book 2 and 3) and I would like to prioritize Jamie again, and even work on other projects of my own. So I’ll  likely turn it down, or push it out so that I can work on getting Jamie done. 
Anyway, enough rambling! I just wanna thank y’all for sticking around. it means to world to me.
