easy frontal soft light setup

Very easy one light setup, a big softbox on a 1200w Aputure daylight LED, directed towards the ceiling in front of the model (white ceiling to reflect the light).
This is a very quick setup to start with, good for warming up the model, cause she has a lot of freedom for her moves, as the light comes from the front and upwards direction to her and she is not restricted with movement and angle of her face :)
The light is very even on the model and the bacground, casting a very soft shadow (barely seen while standing) behind the model. The light falloff is very soft, so the white cyclorama seems light grey (as you can see in the behind the scenes photos, model is standing in the front part of the cyclorama, so the light falls off behind her. You could direct the model to go deeper into the cyclorama, and adjust the ISO setting on your camera to adjust the brightness, so the picture becomes even more soft and even :)
You could add 2 black/white boards on the sides of the model to control some contrast on the edges too (in my case I just left hose boards in the front of the cyclorama to tighten the light spread from the front to keep more shadow inside the created "box".

By moving the light source more towards the model, the light comes more from above her, and by pulling it back away from the model, it would come more frontal and even on her :)

Gonna upload the full bts videos of this set next week.
