Your feedback on the current art style

Hello everyone!
It’s been a bit since our last poll. Thank you so much for the love you showed my previous style! I understand the switch to my current style (the bolder lines, vibrant colors, more stylized details) kind of just happened since then without me collecting your feedback on it though. I'd love to get your opinion on it so far versus my previous (softer shading, more realistic tones).
Your input really shapes the direction of my work. If you have a minute, please let me know your thoughts below!

older one fs the new one is good but i think older one helps them from looking as stubby and cartoony

2025-09-12 02:09:55 +0000 UTCI like the new style better but I'd like it to evolve so that faces aren't as round (less mature looking). Also it kind of feels like the range of facial expressions and the are too similar even when the sets and characters are different. So same-y expressions and too round faces.

Honestly, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I've been a bit lazy at times on creating expressions and other facial details. Regardless of the outcome with overall style, I'll do my best to improve that going forward.

2025-09-02 21:23:36 +0000 UTCOlder style kept me here, newer style and proportions eeeeeh not so much. Went like 3 or 4 months without checking back in here tbh. BUT I resubscribed just to revisit the older designs from last year and earlier this year. Even if you never go back to that style, I'll still enjoy the older style for now.... for now.

Especially if you compare the Emma set in the same style, this last one is just perfect . But I'm still a lil bias towards the old style. The Beach outfit Brigid set is still my all time favorite set. My wallpaper has yet to change and I don't think it will lol

2025-09-02 14:29:16 +0000 UTCI like the newer one. It's closer to the style you were using before you switched to the new A.I. model; it's also more unique compared to works/styles I've seen by others. The only drawback is the point Holoteej made; about the characters' faces being too similar.
