important updates affecting all patrons

firstly, big thanks to everyone who’s stuck around and been patient with me and trying to look out for my health. i have been absolutely destroying myself lately art-wise, so i do apologize if the content you’re seeing is sparse or lackluster, but finding time for oc stuff is becoming increasingly harder.

the biggest change that concerns all patrons is as follows: i’m switching my subscription service to upfront billing rather than monthly. this is due to the enormous number of people who join and immediately cancel their subscription, which i only learned now (and potentially hundreds of missed dollars later) does not charge them at the end of the month like i thought it did. i won’t go on about how monstrously shitty it is to do this to someone who’s trying (and very much struggling) to support themself on art alone, but obviously if you find that you’re no longer interested in subscribing or can’t afford it anymore there’s no ill will there. it’s nearly the end of the month, which means billing for june is coming up, but to my understanding patreon might charge you for what seems like double your tier amount. this is patreon charging you for the month of june, and then taking “upfront” payment for july. your tier will not change, but if you aren’t in a place to be charged that much then please back out before the first of the month! i will be making this account change within the next 24 hours, as i’d like to decrease my risk of being scammed as early as possible, but still want to give people time to adjust accordingly.

secondly, a slight change in benefits: i’ve come to realize that the $5 tier doesn’t have many present additional benefits (the main being week-early access to full pieces, but i have so little time to, y’know, make those anymore) so a small change im making is reserving all same-size art for the $5 tier. i know y’all subscribe for sizey stuff so i apologize if this isn’t an earth-shattering benefit, but i’m trying to work with what i’ve got right now ^^’
