Quick announcement for my Patrons on the New Year

Happy New Year to all compact supporters. Time just slipped away as I was meaning to do this announcement around the new year but I just got so busy that only now I got a chance to do it. But I just wanted to let my patrons know what is going on for the new year so I took a bit of time to do so. Though I don't have any big plans, this post is more about what is currently happening, particularly with two upcoming events.

The first, the next scene for Touhou 8 Madness is now in production. I wrote in the latest journal entry that I was now going to make a scene a month, but that was before the change in schedule. Now I only have four days to work on the videos and only a few hours at that. Though I want to say that I will still create a scene a month, that may depend on the amount of work it requires. Because I now have less time to work on these, I'm trying to make up for it by increasing the quality of the videos, adding more animations, and I have plans to have action sequences for the TH8 parody. So it will all depend on what kind of video the scene calls for. If it's just character's talking, then it should be fine, but a fight scene will require a different schedule all together. But at least for now, the next scene will be available in a few days.

The second event is the new upcoming animation project. Right now I got more commissions and I had to give those higher priority. I was going to start planning the next animated project, which is the scene from WaHH I mentioned earlier, after I finished them but then I remembered something. 2025 is the 10 year anniversary of Touhou 15. When I remembered that, I suddenly wanted to do something to commemorate that. So now I'm in a bit of a dilemma. There's no more time to spare. Everything is booked. The only time I have to work on a TH10 anniversary project is the same one for the planned WaHH animated clip, and that is also shared with the commissions. Not to mention this may conflict with the upcoming TH15 animated adaption, which is aiming to be far different than anything else I have done. I don't want people to confuse the two of them as being one and the same.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out what should I do. Should I switch gears and make something for the anniversary, or stick with the WaHH clip? It wouldn't be such a hard loss since I am making a teaser trailer for Th15. It would've been awesome if I could do it before the anniversary but the odds of that happening are too high to get my hopes up. I'll think about this and let you guys know what I've decided upon.

And that's it. Just wanted to let you guys know what is going to happen for the time being. I'm so busy with the other projects but I didn't want to leave my supporters hanging. But all the same, keep hanging on because great things are coming for this year, 2025.
